Ronnie Dean Garoutte, age 74, of Aurora passed away November 21, 2022 at home with his family at his side. He was born July 24, 1948 in Aurora, son of Dan and Maxine (Seitz) Garoutte.

He was raised on the family farm northwest of Verona. He graduated from Verona High School in 1966. On August 16, 1968 he married Beverly Ann Walker at First Baptist Church Aurora. They lived their entire 54 years together in the Aurora area. He worked almost 40 years at what originally was Hoffman Taft and later BCP Ingredients in Verona. Ronnie coached his sons little league teams for several years. He later developed a love for golf and spent much of his spare time on the golf course making many friendships. He loved volunteering at the Aurora Nursing Center. He had a passion for the elderly and children. He was very active in his church, First Baptist of Aurora. He served in many areas, helping with the children, driving the church van and anything else that needed to be done. He also served as a deacon and trustee.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Beverly; two sons, Michael (Amy), Jason (Brandy); three grandchildren, Michael (Shay), Jaccob (Courtney), Emily Ernest; one great-grandson, Korbyn; one brother, Glenn (Jeannie); one sister, Darlene Custer. He was also survived by sister-in-law, Sue Garoutte, and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Maxine; one sister, Betty; one brother, Robert; one brother-in-law, Lewis Custer and nephew Steve Custer.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 26 at 2 PM at First Baptist Church in Aurora. Visitation will be held Saturday, from 1 PM until service time.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Aurora, Childrens or Youth department.
