Peterson Funeral Chapel

           Robert "Bob" Joseph Reavis was born May 3, 1929 and departed this life on February 10, 2017 in Mercy Hospital in Aurora, MO., while a resident at the Ozark Methodist Manor in Marionville, MO.

            Bob was the eldest of seven sons born to Buck and Thelma McCullough Reavis.  Bob married Patricia "Patsy" Doris Lasiter on December 21, 1946 and had two sons, Larry Joe and Russell David.

            Bob was known for his ability to play the steel guitar in the Reavis Brothers Band, along with six brothers.  Bob's love for country music has inspired grandsons, granddaughters, nieces and nephews.  Bob and his brother Jerry built several homes and businesses throughout the ozarks.  Bob and Patsy owned and operated the ReavisvilleMarket for several years while managing a mobile home park.  He was compassionate toward people.  Bob was loved by his family and will be missed by many

            Survivors include 1 son, Russell Reavis and wife, Jan of Crane, MO.; 3 brothers, Jerry, Butch and Kenny Reavis all of Crane, MO.; 4 grandchildren, Shelley Reavis Andrus and husband, Duane Andrus, Richard Darin Reavis and wife, Charley, Jenaya Lee Reavis Cornelison and husband, Matthew and Caleb David Reavis and wife, Bobbi; 12 great-grandchildren, Holden Andrus and wife, Blair and Shelby and Karley Andrus, Hannah, Emily and Chloe Reavis, Caymen and Cambryn Cornelison, Mckenna, Mica and Pacer Lacy and Bo David Reavis; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Draya, Jax and Bella; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

‚Äč            Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 14 from 2-4 p.m. in the Reavisville Baptist Church with graveside services immediately following in Mars Hill Cemetery under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
