Cupie, as everyone knew her, was born in Aurora where she grew up and also attended school. On February 5, 1940 she was united in marriage toHorrel Wilson. They made their home in Shell Knob where they raised 4 children. Cupie was saved at a young age and spent her life living a Christian life for the Lord.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband of 59 years, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and an 11 year old daughter, Geneva Allene Wilson.

Survivors include her daughter Louella and husband Rex Mooneyham of Aurora, son Kenneth and wife Vivian Wilson of Jenkins, and daughter Rhonda Wilson of Shell Knob; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Gladys Clevenger and twins Wanda Haley and Norma Rainwater all of Aurora; and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her.

She was a homemaker most of her life and loved to sew in her younger years making dresses for the girls and even suits for her husband. In later years she enjoyed making and hand quilting quilts for her children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren. She loved to go to church and sang with her husband in a Quartet for many years. Her most prized possessions were her faith in the Lord and her family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Faith Full Gospel Church under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery near Cassville.

Visitation will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. in the Church.
