Peterson Funeral Chapel
Jessie "J. Frank" McKnight, 80, of Marionville, MO. passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 in his home.
He was born to Alvis and Flora Whitied McKnight on February 5, 1936 in Galena, MO.
J. Frank was in the ministry for 48 years where he pastored at Clever Full Gospel Church and the Crane Assembly of God Church. He conducted many revivals over the years. He also worked at the shoe factory in Aurora, Dayco in Springfield and Fasco in Ozark, MO. He bought houses and fixed them up to rent or sell and he also sold insurance when Dayco went on strike where he was the top salesman for the four-state area.
He married Nilene Mooneyham on May 7, 1954 and she survives. Other Survivors include 1 son, Darrell McKnight of Marionville; 2 daughters, Lavita Lugenbell of Billings, MO. and Cheri Ramsey and husband, Neil of Marionville; 1 brother, Joe McKnight and wife, Evelyn of Concordia, MO.; 2 sisters, Anita Bowling and husband, Raymond of Aurora and Joyce Maples and husband, Gene of Galena, MO. 4 grandchildren, Krystal Lugenbell, Eric Lugenbell and wife, Tina, Nathanael Ramsey and wife, Samantha and Che' Ramsey and 1 great-grandchild, Peyton Lugenbell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Faith Full Gospel Church under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Crane Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral chapel.
