Peterson Funeral Chapel
Earl Rhodes, 82, of Aurora passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 in the Roaring River Health Center in Cassville.
He was born to Edly E. "Bill" and Leona Stutesman Rhodes on December 20, 1932 in Hoberg, MO. Earl had eight college degrees. He was best known for his work in criminal law, such as searching for missing persons, private investigations, sheriff and police work and his work for FBI agencies. He was also well known for his chiropractic work in Missouri. He served in the U.S. Army, Navy in the Korean War and in the Civil Air Patrol.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Sherry Hulett of Columbia, MO. and Tammy Rhodes of Aurora; 1 granddaughter, April Standefer and husband, Robert of Aurora; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 siblings; and 1 grandson, Anthony Rhodes.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial with full military honors will be in Maple Park Cemetery.
