Peterson Funeral Chapel

            Betty Jean Sprinkles, 84, of Aurora went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday, April 6, 2020 at the Aurora Nursing Center.

            Betty was born to Finis and Leona Means Tunnell on May 23, 1935 in Clay Hill, MO.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend..

            Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Willie of Aurora; three sons, Michael Salkill, Randall (Treva) Salkill and Ronald (Sherrie) Salkill all of Aurora; one daughter, Brenda (David) Mathis of Cabool, MO.; one sister, Martha Harris of Aurora; one brother-in-law, Curtis Barrett of Mt. Vernon, MO.; one sister-in-law, Janie Tunnell of Aurora; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

            Betty was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Terry Salkill; three brothers, Tom, Jake and Jerry Tunnell; three sisters, Mildren Cornman, Carmaletta Barrett and Susie Harris.

            Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, there will be a private graveside service at the Clay Hill Cemetery under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.

            Family and friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday, April 7 from 3-6 p.m.
