Anna Mae Maples, 83, of Aurora passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 in Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
She was born to Claude and Fannie Stucker Davis on February 10, 1934 in Gideon, MO. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Maples and wife, Carole of Mt. Vernon and Gary Maples of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Annette Slade and husband, Mike of Overland Park, KS. and Deborah Caton and husband, Gary of Cole Camp, MO.; five sisters, Betty Pettit of Arkansas, Helen Murray of Monett, Shirley Ward of Eddy, TX., Mary McRoberts of Blue Springs, MO. and Carol Davis of Buffalo, MO.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brother, Buster Davis; and two sisters, Elizabeth Perkins and Cathye Davis.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Maple Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
