Angela Pearl (Pilkenton) Alleger Williams passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the age of 89 at home surrounded by family.
She was born in Crane, MO. October 19, 1931 to Fritz and Sadie Pilkenton. Angela loved music. In high school she was a member of the band and Glee Club. She continued singing in church choirs all her life. She was a singer and bass player in Steve's band, "Little Bit of Swing." Her mother Sadie once said: "Angela always has a song in her heart."
Angela married Max R. Alleger on August 4, 1950 who preceded her in death on February 22, 1987. She was married to Steve L. Williams on March 5, 1994. She embraced Steve's family as her own.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Williams; one daughter, Linda Gibson and husband, Bill of Pine, AZ.; a son, Doug Alleger of Aurora, MO.; a step-son, Kenny Williams of Aurora, MO.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one brother, J.D. Pilkenton of Aurora, MO.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Sadie Pilkenton; five sisters; one brother; 1 grandchild; and one step-son, Joe Williams.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 15 at 10:00 a.m. in Maple Park Cemetery under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
